ROCK ISLAND FIJI is run by a New Zealand registered travel company which founded New Zealand’s first Fiji festival getaway with ‘BlueSky FIJI’ in 2012 and has since expanded into an array on incredible travel escapes each year from festivals to corporate, sports and charity.
All packages include flights, accommodation, transfers, all your meals, nightly themed parties plus our epic lineup of entertainment, activities and additional unique experiences.
Packages do not include your drinks, travel insurance and activities like jet skiing, Cloud9, Malamala or the Sandbank Party

Name changes are free up to 45 before departure by logging into your booking. Any name changes after that time will incur a $250 pp/per change fee and must be requested via team@rockislandfiji.com.

Booking
We’ve introduced a ballot system (draw) as we have sold out for nearly 10 years running!
We draw from the database of those who have registered, at random.
If you’re drawn, one of our team will call you with a unique code for you to book!
You just need to enter that code here on www.rockislandfiji.com before securing your spot with a $50pp deposit.
This locks in your package. Following payment of this deposit, you will receive an email with the option to pay upfront or opt into a weekly or monthly payment plan.
You can also book any add ons at this stage!
We have amazing add ons you can add to your booking to make the most of your ROCK ISLAND Experience.
- Cloud 9 – $199pp – Cloud 9 is a two storey floating bar in the middle of the ocean, cost includes return transfers from the Island and a FJD$100 food and beverage voucher to spend while on Cloud9 + bonus lunch at Funky Fish Island!!
- Sandbank Party – $39pp – White sand, sound system and DJ decks all setup alongside an epic bar. Price includes transfers to and from the Island + $15pp is donated to Nakelo Trust
- MALAMALA – $199pp – Your package includes boat transfer, club entrance & FJD$100 to splash on a Malamala’s Pacific-inspired à-la-carte menu and an array of hand-crafted cocktails
- Island Credit – $250 OR $500 options available – Terrible at saving spending money as the holiday approaches? We’ve got you covered. Preload your island account so you can make the most of the amazing activities available! Please note: all unused credit is non-refundable.
- Airport Fees: Nil, we have this all covered in your package cost.
- Additional Taxes: Nil, we have this all covered in your package cost.
- Name change fees: Free of Charge until 45 days out from departure, following these changes will incur a $250pp fee.
- Card Fees: 2.8% is added on all credit and debit card transactions
- Payment Plan Fee: A 9.9% admin fee is added for those opting to pay their balance in monthly or weekly instalments. Failure to make timely payments may result in cancellation of your reservation. We provide a seven day window of lenience for payments to go through. The system will try to deduct the instalment once every 24hours from the due date, for 7 days. A default fee of $4.00 is incurred for each failed attempt to cover transaction fees.
Flights are on the fixed dates as detailed when booking your package, however you’re welcome to remove your flights (deducting $600 from your package!) and you can stay in Fiji for however long you wish 🙂
To get the best pricing we bulk purchase ‘return’ flights so are unable to remove just one flight.
In most cases, yes, you may transfer your reservation to someone else, free of charge, up until 45 days out from the trip. You can do this easily online by signing into your account. After this time the cost will be $250pp per change and all name change requests will need to be submitted in writing to team@rockislandfiji.com
Accommodation & Flights
The island will take a copy of your credit card or visa debit card at the time of check-in, or if paying in cash at the end of your trip you’ll need to provide them FJ$500 cash bond per person.
Once you’ve landed, we have chartered coaches waiting outside the airport to transport everyone to the port, and then onto our 98ft yacht to party out to the island.
Fiji has the same electrical outlets and power supply as in Australia and New Zealand!
- Beers start from FJD$10.00 (AUD/NZD$7.00)
- Spirits start from FJD$10.00 (AUD/NZD$7.00)
- Soft drinks start from FJD$5.00 (AUD/NZD$3.50)
- Cocktails start from FJD$15.00 (AUD/NZD$10.50)
The Island also offers happy hours at numerous different times throughout the week.
The island has complimentary Starlink Wifi
Our flights for ROCK ISLAND FIJI include standard check-in and carry-on luggage. Please refer to Fiji Airways for more information on standard luggage allowances.
As flight times are subject to change we provide just your flight numbers e.g. FJ410, up until a couple of weeks prior to departure, these can be found by simply signing in! There are no physical tickets, you just need to turn up to the airport, with your passport, ready for the time of your life!
Payments & Refunds
After your $50 deposit you will have the option of paying the remainder upfront or choosing to pay in weekly or monthly instalments!
All payments for security purposes are transacted by credit or debit card.
All transactions on the island will be in Fijian Dollars. While at the island you can charge your expenses back to your room and pay this amount via card or with Fiji cash at the end of your trip!
The instalment dates are set in stone as we have our own deadlines and payments to make to our key suppliers. Once you have started a payment plan you cannot change the dates, but you can pay it off in advance.
Installation dates and amounts are listed for you when you log into your account. Please reach out to us prior to the instalment date if you have any payment issues so we may do our best to assist you. If you reach out to us post the payment date, please bear in mind our options may be limited.

In order for us to deliver such great deals, we are unable to reimburse you. Depending on your circumstances your travel insurance may cover you in such an event.
We understand that life can get in the way of your travel plans. While we don’t offer it, we do recommend you investing in a travel insurance policy for our trips just in case something unexpected comes up and be potentially covered. Alternatively, you can on-sell/transfer your trip to someone else with the free name change option up until 45 days out! Please reach out to us at team@rockislandfiji.com for more info.
Planning & Safety
Yes, also you need to ensure that your passport has at least six months until expiry from the date of your return.
NZ & Australian citizens are automatically issued with tourist visas when you arrive in Fiji. For other nationalities check out @ https://www.immigration.gov.fj/fiji-visas/
Most definitely! Travel Insurance can cover a range of unforeseen instances that affect travel, such as medical expenses, trip postponement, trip delay or baggage delay, just to name a few!
You do not receive any physical travel documentation from us – you just check in at the airport for your flight with your passport and travel insurance, and Fiji Airways will give you your Boarding Pass on the day. Don’t forget to be 3 hours early for your flight! Your flight times and details of where to be and what to do on departure day will be emailed to you prior to departure.
Please contact your cellphone carrier to check your international coverage prior to your departure.
For general safety purposes, we would recommend you travel in groups when in a foreign location and be aware of your surroundings. At ROCK ISLAND Experience FIJI you’ll be surrounded by new mates plus all the Rock Island & Fijian team on hand to help you out 🙂
